The design and manufacture of fishing vessels remains an important part of SOCARENAM’s activity today. In order to meet the expectations of shipowners, the company has developed a range of vessels of less than 20m, an excellent compromise between size and autonomy, for tides of a few days in coastal fishing.
Adapted to the needs of each fishing captain, these vessels are reliable and robust work tools, integrating all the necessary equipment as well as living spaces to allow efficient fishing in good conditions of comfort, with a limited vessel size and engine power.
This stern trawler of less than 12m is equipped with two fishing winches, two drums on gantry and a caliorne winch. With a clear aft deck, a large covered storage area and a fish hold, the vessel can store a large number of crates, for a total catch of about 5.5 t. Designed for daytime tides, it nevertheless has a living area on the main deck, a rest area for three people under the deck and a long range with 7 m3 of GO on board.
This 14.95m shell/bottom trawler is equipped with two fishing winches, three drums on gantry and two caliorne winches. It has a large working deck with sorting table and a 26 m3 refrigerated fish hold to store approximately 130 crates, served by a jib with electric winch. Integrating berth for 4 peoples under the main deck, a skipper’s cabin and accommodation on the main deck, and 9.6m3 tanks of gasoil, this ship is designed for tides of a few days.
18.50m stern trawler equipped with three winches for twin trawl fishing, also equipped with 4 drums on gantry and a caliorne winch. It is equipped with a large covered working deck, a 45 m3 refrigerated fish hold and two lobster livewells. The vessel also has a berth for 6 people under the main deck, a skipper’s cabin and accommodation on the main deck and 18m3 of gasoil for several days of autonomy.
